Med Tech

Immanuel Campus of Care is looking to hire a skilled and dedicated certified Medicine Technician to join our Assisted Living Team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience passing medication as a Med Tech and must be certified in CPR/AED, First Aid, Food Handlers Card, and Caregiving.

Job Duties

• Prepare and administer medication and treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Order medications, supplies, and equipment as needed.
• Properly dispose of expired and discontinued medication.
• Chart and perform documentation duties.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of residents as needed.
• Assist with direct resident care.
• Maintain clean and sanitized work areas.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living.
• Assist with housekeeping duties (trash, linens, dishes, etc.).
• Escort residents to and from dining areas; assist with tasks related to dining as needed.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Adhere to daily assignments sheet.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and relate to diverse populations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Knowledge and realization that incompetence and errors may have serious consequences for residents.
• Knowledge of proper Infection Control Procedures.

Employment Requirements

• AZ Caregiver Certificate (ALTP # must be provided)
• AZ Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (we will help you apply)
• Current 2-stepTB Test (available on-site)
• Current Hands-on CPR/AED & First Aid Certificate for Healthcare Professionals
• Med Pass Training Certificate
• Valid Food Handlers Card
• Must be 18 years of age.

Shifts Available

This is a Non-Exempt FLSA status position working in our Assisted Living Community.

Hours: 2 PM - 10 PM

Hours: Double 6 AM- 2 PM; 2 PM - 10 PM on weekends
